The date of the next Plumstead Make Merry has been announced as Saturday 10th June 2017, from 12 noon to 6pm on Plumstead Common, London, SE18.

The Make Merry is the longest-running community festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich with over 5000 people coming along each year to enjoy a fun filled day that celebrates the history and diversity of the local area.

The Plumstead Make Merry offers a packed day of music, arts and activities. There are live music and dance performances across two stages, a dedicated children’s area with a variety of different activities for the under 5’s, a fun fair, and an array of free workshops and other activities. With up to 80 different stalls from local groups and businesses, as well as food stalls serving culinary delights from around the world, there is plenty on offer for all the family.

The Make Merry is run entirely by volunteers who work hard to secure the funds to put the event on annually so that the local community can have this free festival on the calendars.

We are already recruiting for stewards for the festival, you can find details in the ‘Get Involved’ section of our website.  Details of how to apply for stalls and performers will be released soon too.

Please come back and check the website which will keep you up to date with developments.  You can also join our Facebook and Twitter pages.

We would love you to come along and support us at our Merry Xmas Quiz Night on Friday 9th December for an evening of seasonal fun and games at the Greenwich Rugby Club Pavilion on Plumstead Common.
