Without sponsorship, funding and donations we would not be able to put on this festival. For the 2021 event we would like to give a huge thanks to the following:
Community Arts Fund from The Royal Borough of Greenwich,
Community Fund from the National Lottery,
Andrew Johnson Funeral Services,
Katrina (individual donor).
Thanks also to Richard McDonald for his letterpress poster design and individually hand printing them so that we can raise funds for the event. Richard’s continued support and donation is greatly appreciated. https://www.instagram.com/richardmcdonald/
David Hall will be running his awesome Mathmagics in The Workshop Tent. He’ll be putting lots of fun into maths, great for kids and suitable for all ages, and it’s free! It’s been described as the best maths demonstration ever! It’s not what you’d expect!
Plans are well and truly underway for the 2021 Plumstead Make Merry, the team are working hard to bring you a safe event that will still be a celebration of our fantastic community on Saturday 26th June.
We have a number of sponsorship options available, and can also discuss any bespoke requirements you may have. With options ranging from just £50. You can find full details on our website page by clicking here
Don’t forget, you still have time to apply to be a valued member of our team on the day as one of our volunteers, or have your very own stall, or come and perform on our main stage.
The Plumstead Make Merry festival will return on Saturday 26th June. The organising team are currently working on plans to bring a safe event to our community within the national and local guidelines for coronavirus.
If you’d like to be a part of the event to celebrate our community, applications details will be available in the ‘Get Involved’ section of our website from the 15th March. We will be looking for stall holders, performers and volunteer stewards.
We think it is important to keep the community spirit alive, in a way that is as safe as we can, and we would love for locals to join us in ensuring that this can happen. Without the support of our community, the event will not be able to take place.
We are pleased to announce that the Plumstead Make Merry has been shortlisted in the Royal Borough of Greenwich Business Awards 2020. We are entered into the Social Enterprise category. As a small group of local volunteers, we are very excited that we are recognised in this. The winner will be announced on 6th March. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Do you want to be part of our team at this year’s Plumstead Make Merry festival on Saturday 6th June? Or maybe you know someone that would like to? Applications for volunteer stewards will open on Monday 27th January.
It’s a great way to show some community spirit, and you may even learn some new skills. No experience is necessary.
