The Plumstead Make Merry festival will return on Saturday 26th June. The organising team are currently working on plans to bring a safe event to our community within the national and local guidelines for coronavirus.
If you’d like to be a part of the event to celebrate our community, applications details will be available in the ‘Get Involved’ section of our website from the 15th March. We will be looking for stall holders, performers and volunteer stewards.
We think it is important to keep the community spirit alive, in a way that is as safe as we can, and we would love for locals to join us in ensuring that this can happen. Without the support of our community, the event will not be able to take place.
We are pleased to announce that the Plumstead Make Merry has been shortlisted in the Royal Borough of Greenwich Business Awards 2020. We are entered into the Social Enterprise category. As a small group of local volunteers, we are very excited that we are recognised in this. The winner will be announced on 6th March. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

The Make Merry is the longest-running community festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich with thousands of people coming along to enjoy a fun filled day of music, arts and activities that celebrate the history and diversity of the local area.
The Make Merry is run entirely by volunteers and is completely reliant on the generosity of its supporters. The more money we raise, the more free activities we can offer at the festival.
